Hi, Ho, Silverback Coffee!

Yesterday I was invited to attend the grand opening of Silverback Coffee of Rwanda in Echo Park, CA. Silverback is dedicated to giving back. Their mission?

SILVERBACK COFFEE OF RWANDA™ is committed to participating in the rebuilding of Rwanda and its wildlife, and to giving back to the people who were affected in the genocide of 1994 by providing the world with the highest quality coffee and tea.

Thanks to PR dude Robert Hensley for the invite, and some good times, eats & tea! Here are photos from the event...

Donatella/Penelope/Donatella/Penelope

Wigging Out
Penelope Cruz
In what I find oddly interesting casting news, Penelope Cruz will be portraying Donatella Versace in the upcoming season of American Crime Story. As you may recall I posted some delicious images of Darren Criss as Andrew Cunanan recently.

While I view the casting of Criss, say that one three times fast, a no brainer, I find Cruz as Donatella a curious thing. While I have nothing against Penelope Cruz the choice of her for the role is odd to say the least.

Seriously? What gives here??? I'm sure she will be fine, I just don't get it. It seems the only thing she and Donatella have in common is an accent. Not to mention Cruz is way more attractive than the woman she is portraying.

Perhaps it will all become clear when I see the finished show. Until then file this under things that make you go hmmm...

Happy Easter!

My Kind Of Easter Basket
The Easter Bunny & Andy Cohen
When I was a kid growing up I always loved getting baskets of goodies from the Easter Bunny. As I grew older and my taste evolved I wished he would bring me a different kind of Easter Basket instead...

Something along the lines of this Bunny bringing everyone Andy Cohen with his basket full of goodies. Calories you can burn instead of packing on, that's my idea of one devilishly delicious Easter Brunch.

Andy the host of Bravo's Watch What Happens Live seems very at ease offering up his Easter Eggs. Let's indulge him and partake, shan't we? Yummy!

Happy Easter Everyone!
