Rock Out, With Your Gaga Out!

Wave Your Hands In The Air Like You Don't Care
Lady Gaga
T.G.I.F! Happy Friday peeps, for those about to rock like Lady Gaga, pictured here at her Detroit concert we salute you!

Why this today? Why not? I say. It's a nice kick off to the weekend, it's Gaga looking and feeling good and doing what she does best, performing.

Thus can you think of anything better than this to wish you all a joyous three day Holiday? I think not, don't even try to challenge me on this one, you will lose.

So have a glorious time with that extra day, you've earned it, and bend it like Gaga. You know you want to!!!

Tribute To Chris Cornell: The Pretty Reckless

Taylor Momsen
Performing
"Like A Stone"
Tribute.

Over this past weekend, Taylor Momsen and THE PRETTY RECKLESS returned to the stage to pay tribute to Chris Cornell.  It was their first show since opening for Soundgarden earlier last week in Detroit.

Taylor Momsen wrote in an Instagram post that her "heart is broken."
"Still in a state of shock," she added. "I have no words right now except my heart pours out to his beautiful family and friends."

THE PRETTY RECKLESS also posted a tribute to Cornell on the band's Twitter, writing: "Our deepest sympathies to family and new friends we just had the privilege to join for an all-too-brief moment. Our hearts are with you."

You Are My Sweet Baby: Love Song For Jeffrey Dahmer

Dudley Saunders
Dudley Saunders latest is disturbing, haunting & beautiful....

Since nobody extrapolates on their own creations better than Dudley here is what he has to say about it:

Here is the seventh lyric video from IN THESE BOXES (and also the album THE EMERGENCY LANE).

The unusual thing is that I removed the song title for IN THESE BOXES, which made it more of a straightforward S&M love song (depending on how straightforward you feel an S&M love song can be). So it was an interesting bit of artistic re-purposing.

Here's the text from the performance, which nods lightly toward Dahmer without tipping into serial murder, keeping it in the sphere of perverse romance:

"This memory was murdered.  This life was a secret.  It did not require drugs to be released.  He was transformed, as a hero should be in a proper story.  He found happiness.  The happiness was so upsetting that much care was taken to blot out any memory of it.   To ravel the story so it’s pattern could not be seen.  But his happiness had been here, in that Detroit basement that was soundproof."

Prepare yourself and watch the video after the jump.
