Oh My!

I See London, I See...
l-r
Justin Bieber, Portia de Rossi & Ellen Degeneres

With a scant 14 days until Christmas I grudgingly decided to do another Holiday post. That being stated I found something that actually plays to my sensibility

Thus I would all like you to bear witness to a heart warming card for the Season sent by talk show Queen, Ellen Degeneres and her wife Portia de Rossi featuring a naked Justin Bieber. You all remember when Justin had this habit of being photographed balls out don't you? Well Ellen and Portia used that to create one of the funniest/edgy Christmas cards I have ever seen and now can't un-see. Now you can't either.

Yep, leave it to Bieber to make the Yuletide gay, and Ellen to use it to great comic effect.

Christmas it's what being served with it's head on a platter...

Sunday Funday!

Da Bomb!
l-r
Portia de Rossi, Ellen DeGeneres & Kelly Clarkson
"Just stay calm, baby, no more bombs" - Liza Minnelli "Don't Drop Bombs"

I don't know about you minions but I'm feeling quite silly today, hence I did a search on the WWW for what else? Celebrity Photobombs

As you can bear witness I mined a treasure of one. See Ellen DeGeneres & her wife Portia de Rossi canoodling at The Grammy's - why look it's Grammy Winner Kelly Clarkson making silly in the BG (background for those acronym challenged.)

And so the story goes...

That Kelly she's so adorable don't you just want to take her home and feed her?

Bye, Bye,Bye

That Time When...
NSYNC, Ellen DeGeneres & Carson Daly
When boy band NSYNC disbanded in 2002, I never thought we would hear from them again collectively as a group, individually, of course, but as a whole unit?!

Just when you thought it was safe to walk down Hollywood Blvd. NSYNC got their star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, yesterday, April 30th 2018. Hence me titling this entry "Bye, Bye, Bye" because it is the only song by the boys that I can recall.

"No" I was not one of their fans. Seriously I don't think I am the target audience for a boy band, not being a teenage girl.

But, when I saw this image of them with Ellen DeGeneres & Carson Daly in tow...WTF?! It made me nostalgic for a simpler, sillier time in the history of the world. "Yes" sometimes I have odd triggers.

So let's kick off this first of May, or May Day as it were with some good vibes. You know you want them.

Jan Fonda, Vibrator Saleswoman

Feels So Good Inside
Jane Fonda
On the upcoming season of Grace and Frankie Jane Fonda gave Ellen the 411 that her character becomes a vibrator saleswoman. Yes, you read that correctly, call it fitness for the over seventy set?

On the plus side the directions are in large print so they are easily legible. Jane cried uncle and admitted to trying out all different kinds of Joy Toys for season three research.

You go Jane Fonda! I hope to look and feel as good as you do at 78!

On that note I leave this for you on the floor as it were.

T.G.I.F! I hereby decree this, use it or lose it Friday

Your mission this weekend, should you have the balls to accept it is to Bend It Like Fonda.

Cheers!

Pose Like A Mannequin

ID, Don't Leave Home Without It
Ellen DeGeneres
Tuesday was no laughing matter when Ellen DeGeneres arrived at the White House to receive her Medal of Freedom as she apparently forgot her ID. So what is a funny gal to do? Well first post a selfie outside of the Nation's Capital to prove you can't get in on Twitter with the caption:

They haven't let me in to the White House yet because I forgot my ID.

Once inside you post an epic mannequin challenge video with such notables as Robert DeNiro & Diana Ross.

This how Ellen spent her Tuesday, posing like a mannequin and receiving a medal from Barrack Obama. Wow! All I did was take a meeting and work. Congratulations to Ms. DeGeneres for an honor well earned.

Finding Dory: I Want Your Same Sex?

Dory, Ellen, Dory, Ellen
Finding Dory
Is there or isn't there a same sex couple in the upcoming Disney/Pixar production Finding Dory?

There is a scene in the trailer which depicts two women caring over a baby in a stroller. Hmmmmmm...while no speculation has been addressed directly here is what Dory aka Ellen Degeneres has to say about it:

"I personally think it's a great thing, I think everything that we see in the media, whether it's television or film or anything you see—should represent everything that's happening in the world. I think everybody that is in the world should be seen and represented."

Ellen did have one issue with the potential same sex couple in Finding Dory.
"One woman has a very bad short haircut, which I find very offensive" Ha! At least it isn't a damned mullet!

Find out the full scoop when Finding Dory hits theaters this Friday June 17th.

It's Only Day Three Of 2016 and...

Ahoy!
l-r Harry Styles, Kendall Jenner, Portia De Rossi & Ellen Degeneres

Well 2016 is looking to live up to it's hype as being a bold new year. How else can you explain this photo of Kendall Jenner, Harry Styles, Ellen Degeneres and Portia De Rossi all having lunch on the same yacht?

Yep, sometimes the world is full of strange bedfellows. The said yacht was traveling the waters in and around St. Barts for those who care.

Honestly I was so intrigued by the photo above I just had to post it. It seems like a sign of things to come in 2016, an omen of sorts, and a positive one at that.

Now that the tone has been set this year has a lot to live up to expectation wise and it had better bring it!

Have a great last day of the Holidays peeps!

Loni Love is in The Air

Feel The Loni Love!
Photo: Anders Krusberg
LONI LOVE RETURNS FOR SEASON 2 OF “THE REAL” SEPTEMBER 14
“BEING LONI LOVE” DOCUMENTARY TO AIR ON CENTRIC SEPTEMBER 26
LONI TAPPED TO HOST ELLEN’S NEW GAMESHOW “HEAD’S UP”

Fall is in the air and it feels like Love, Loni Love that is. She will be keeping it fun and above all, real!

Comedienne, actress, tv host and author, Loni Love is in demand and loving it as she gets set to return as co-host for season 2 of her hit daytime talker “The Real” beginning September 14.  The nationally syndicated show which airs on Fox stations (with a rebroadcast in primetime on cable network BET) was touted by the New York Post as “fun, funny, involved in life, outrageous by nature, warm and, most of all, real.” Along with her talk show duties, Loni will host the upcoming Ellen DeGeneres produced Heads Up game show. Based on the popular app where contestants have to give clues to another player so they can guess which subject is ‘on their head’, the show will debut on the HLN network in January, 2016.

In the ten plus years since she began doing comedy full time, Loni has found her niche on The Real (“It's like a younger, intoxicated version of The View” said Jezebel), as well as regular appearances spinning tunes as the house DJ on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.  Loni also currently co-hosts the Café Mocha radio show cafemocharadio.com with rapper MC Lyte.  They’ve interviewed President Obama and the First Lady as well as superstars like John Legend, Toni Braxton among many others.  Café Mocha is the only nationally syndicated show of its kind that was created exclusively BY and FOR women of color.  You can catch the nationally syndicated show on over 40 stations across the country including SiriusXM Channel 141.   Additionally, Loni has been a correspondent for Entertainment Tonight and E!  Along with her work on television, Loni just wrapped production on director Garry Marshall’s next film Mother’s Day and can be seen in several movies, including the successful Paul Blart Mall Cop 2 opposite Kevin James, Soul Plane with Kevin Hart and the Bad Ass franchise with Danny Glover and Danny Trejo.

Later this month, Loni will be the subject of the documentary “Being Loni Love.  “Being Loni Love” traces Loni’s life story from her early days as a latchkey daughter growing up in Detroit’s Brewster-Douglas housing projects to national stand up comedienne, tv and movie star. “ I was honored when the “Being” producers wanted to hear my story. I want to share my life story to inspire all women that they can become and achieve whatever they want.”  Says Loni.

“Being Loni Love” is set to begin airing September 26 on the Centric channel.

You can also catch Loni out on the road this fall with her stand-up comedy show.

Cheers To Kelly Clarkson!

Kelly Clarkson: Where's The Wine?
Photo: Michael Rozman/Warner Brothers
Kelly Clarkson has always been the subject of ridicule about her weight. Even when she was on American Idol

Weight is such a boring subject and if it does not bother Ms. Clarkson why the Hell should it bother you?

The Kelly bomb appeared on Ellen and got a resounding cheer from DeGeneres and the crowd, and didn't apologize about her gorgeous, curvaceous figure for one second. "I yo-yo," she said, "Sometimes I'm more fit and I get into kickboxing hardcore, and then sometimes I don't and go, 'Nope, I'd rather have wine!'"

Hooray Kelly, when in doubt wine should always win!

Ellen Degeneres Goes Lesbian For NBC

Elisha Cuthbert
Sixteen years after Ellen Degeneres came out on Ellen another network comedy with a lesbian lead is coming to primetime.

NBC has given a pilot order to a multi-camera comedy executive produced by DeGeneres.

The project, titled One Big Happy, is written/exec produced by openly gay comedy scribe Liz Feldman (2 Broke Girls).

In it, a gay (woman) and straight (man) best friends decide to have a baby together, but things get complicated when the man finds the love of their life.

Um, I was going to say "Holy Will & Grace" but this sounds a whole lot more interesting and progressive.

Elisha Cuthbert from the classic show 24 and the awful remake of House of Wax (sorry Elisha I like you but, damn, really?!) is set to star in the pilot.

Can  I get a hey now?!

Keep up with Ellen at: http://www.ellentv.com/
