Saturday Schwing!

Under My Umbrella...
Dan
Since I didn't give you your mid-week dose of male skin, I thought I would serve some up to you today. Hey, weekends were made to Schwing it, Schwing it good!

Today, your Saturday Schwing comes n the form Dan who hails from London, England. I spied Dan while surfing Tye Briggs Favorite Hunks & Other Things

One of my favorite things that Tye does with models is interview them, I love finding out what makes them tick. I especially like when Tye asks them what made them decide to take it all off for the camera.

Dan does not disappoint with his straight forward answers. In fact a couple are quite sexy...

It's time to use your hands and click on the link below and let loose with a mighty Schwing!

Weekends Were Made For Fishnet Bodysuits

Setting The Fishnet
Jessie J.
Nothing says "Hello Weekend" like a Fishnet Bodysuit, correct?! Well OK there are plenty of other things that do, in fact I can name a few at this very moment, but will refrain from that tedium.

Moving on, for some reason Jessie J. performing at the O2 Academy in Birmingham, England captured my sense of whimsy this ayem.

Jessie's visibility quotient has spiked recently with her dating newly single Channing Tatum, and coming out with the fact that she is unable to bear children. That's OK Ms. J. you are a vocal powerhouse, not to mention how perfectly amaze balls you look in a Fishnet Bodysuit.

Remember when she sang the theme song to Grease on the Grease Live telecast? Yeah, that was a one of the things that really stood out to me about that endeavor.

What's that? "Yes" I just went on a random tangent. It's my blog and I'll do what I want to.

So slide your Fishnet Bodysuit on and bend it like Jessie J. Why? Why the F#ck not???

Silly Saturday

Mahna, Mahna
Kylie Minogue & Some Friends
Today I am feeling light and breezy, "No" definitely not easy and breezy...

Thus this image of Pop Superstar Kylie Minogue with The Muppets is exactly what one needs to take in on a Silly Saturday. I feel silly, oh so silly I feel silly and witty and bright. And I pity anyone who isn't me today!

Kylie took some time out to be a special guest on The Muppets Take The 02 in London, England recently and it looks like she had a blast. Thus in return I have put you all on blast that she is now Queen of the Muppets - Ha! Kidding, or am I.

Don't you love a good secret? Of course you do. Especially when it's Kylie Minogue's .

The tone has been set for the day, enjoy it!

Hello Dalai!

Two Legends at One Time
Being a huge fan of rock legend Patti Smith I could not pass up posting this photo of her and the Dalai Lama on stage at the Glastonbury Festival in England.

It's rare to see Patti in the news so this was cause for celebration!

All hail the high priestess of punk!

It's Murder Ballad Time With Dudley Saunders

Check out Dudley Saunders exploring his inner Nick Cave, here is a message from the artist:

Here's the third lyric video from IN THESE BOXES.  ROSEWOOD CASKET is a murder ballad, and so much more of a full narrative than the other songs.

"People disappear because their lives can't become stories. We tell the stories of heroes, but most people aren’t heroes. Their stories get stopped before they can happen. And that means only the unfinished stories tell us who we really are.

My father’s people are from Flemingsburg, farm country just outside of Appalachia. Appalachia was mostly settled by people from the border country between Scotland and England. When England and Scotland warred, they mostly just attacked the Border people. And this turned them strange – distrustful, paranoid, angry. And they took that anger with them when they settled Appalachia.

But on the other side of anger is guilt. You must have done something to make God hate you so much.

In 1888 – the year my grandmother was born – Johnny meant to leave Appalachia, to start his life, and then didn’t. The reason was in this hunting knife."
