April Fool's Day

While the impact of April Fool's Day has been considerably lessened by the Internet I still like to, as many still do acknowledge it. Hey, traditions die hard...

So here I go with a symbolic gesture, Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn.

I'm assuming no more needs to be said on this? Yeah, I thought not...

The Final Countdown...

Bend It Like Harley
Sarah Michelle Gellar
It's October the 6th and a mere 25 days left until Halloween. Thus it's time for me to get in the spirit of the month a start representing, Damn It!!!

Thus today I hereby bequeath you with Buffy The Vampire Slayer Sarah Michelle Gellar as Harley Quinn, Woo Hoo!

Funny thing when I look at this, it makes me think Sarah Michelle would actually make a bad ass Harley. Can you imagine her getting up in your face crazy? I can, there are many endless possibilities to Ms. Gellar clowning around.

Think of this as Hollywood's missed opportunity.

We are in the final countdown to the most wonderful time of the year, that means more Halloween treats to come on Entertain Me...Boo!

Buffy The Harley Quinn Slayer

Harley, Buffy, Harley, Buffy
Sarah Michelle Gellar

Tomorrow is Halloween, and what would the hallowed day be without an appearance by everyone's favorite vampire slayer Buffy aka Sarah Michelle Gellar? I ask you? C'mon I'm asking, gimme an answer...whatever.

See Sarah Michelle as bad grrrrrl duo jour Harley Quinn at the Good+Foundation's third Halloween bash (say that three times fast!)

With all the reboots happening on TV I personally would love to see Buffy get one as I often wonder when I am in a quandary "What would Buffy do?!"

Can you imagine Buffy still kicking vampire booty as a grown ass woman? The possibilities of a more mature Buffy are limitless, not to mention off the chart intriguing...

Happy day before the most wonderful time of the year! "No" I am not referring to Christmas although it is already being shoved down our collective throats and the high holy day hasn't even happened - Grrrrrrrrr...

Queen Margot

I admit it, I had only heard of Margot Robbie before seeing I, Tonya. "Yep" I, Tonya was the first time I had even seen Ms. Robbie in a film. She was spectacular as Tonya Harding. I suspect she will take home the Golden Globe this Sunday for Best Actress in a Musical or Comedy.
What's that you say? What about her turn as Harley Quinn in Suicide Squad, you mean you didn't see that. "No" I didn't thank you very much, honestly you would have had to kidnap me, tie me up and prop my eyes open A Clockwork Orange style to get me to watch it, and I would still find a way to resist.
Robbie who appears on the cover of The Hollywood Reporter with Tonya Harding tells them she has one regret about doing that movie:
"There's just all this stuff you learn along the way, like, when you get those death threats, it's [smart] to have a security team do a background check on whoever sent them to see if there is any past history of violence because you'll need to know whether you need security to go to certain events. And every time you do a background check, it's going to cost $2,000, so take that into consideration when you're getting yourself into this."
"And it's like, 'OK, that's a different kind of career.' Because then you need to always do a job that can financially support that lifestyle; you can't just do indie films for the rest of your life because that film back there changed everything and now you have to be able to afford security, I just wish someone had explained a lot of those things to me early on. I wouldn't have resented the position I found myself in because I would've known what I was getting myself into."

See kids being a Movie Star isn't always shits & giggles. Best of luck to you Margot on Sunday, you got this!

Cool Daddy Alert!

Who's Your Daddy?
Liev Schreiber & Kai
This image of Liev Schreiber and his 8 year old son Kai, dressed as Harley Quinn at Comi-Con in San Diego yesterday is presently an Internet sensation. Of course it's because Daddy Schreiber let his male offspring dress as a female comic book character. This of course automatically gives one new insight into who Liev is, one Cool Daddy!

Now of course there is a lot of people making statements about the photo saying how great it is that Liev is accepting of his gay son etc...the thing is at this point it is pretty much an assumption as I don't believe Kai has come out and there has been no statement issued to that effect.

While, it is a pretty safe conclusion to draw, it could also mean he simply likes strong female figures, or maybe he will end up being a cross dressing heterosexual.

Sexuality is such a fluid thing especially in this day and age when people are allowed the freedom to be more open about it, so perhaps it is a little early to label an 8 year old boy especially one that the only thing the public really knows about him is that he has a Cool Daddy who let him dress as Harley Quinn.

Think about it, but not too much, OK?

Just Because...Margot Robbie

M-I-C...
Margot Robbie

Just because it's Monday, just because she's a beauty & mostly just because she is wearing a Mickey Mouse T-Shirt, I present this image of actress Margot Robbie.

Even though I did not see Suicide Squad I am sure most of you like me know her best from her role as Harley Quinn in the comic book based movie.

The last I heard she wrapped playing Tonya Harding of all things (isn't she too attractive to be portraying her?) in the bio based film I, Tonya.

Margot's greatest achievement IMHOP is having accomplished something I never thought possible. Yep, she has managed to add a whole other dimension to the icon known as Mickey Mouse.

Think about it, but not too hard, OK?

Happy Monday indeed.

Making Out With "The Joker" Is Nasty

Whose Lipstick Is Best?
Jared Leto & Margot Robbie
One would think getting up close and personal with Jared Leto would be all kinds of sexy, right?

Well apparently it's nasty, and not in the fun way, when he is made-up to portray The Joker in Suicide Squad

Co-Star Margot Robbie who plays Harley Quinn his love interest and partner in crime explains that there were 10 minute make-up touch ups in between takes of the kissing scenes. Now I am not sure how many of you are familiar with the technical end of how takes work, but that is a massive effort for one shot, wow!

But, she had no problem putting the moves on Leto in his scary ass Joker get up. Once you get over the initial shock she explained it becomes normal.

I bet! Suicide Squad opens Friday. Check out the trailer below...
