Her-Story Made

Destiny Has Arrived
Destiny's Child
A little bird called the WWW chirped in my ear and told me that one Beyonce' Knowles made her-story aka history performing at Coachella last night. "Yes" Virginia and all you other kids out there, Queen B was the first Black Woman to ever headline the desert music festival. Now aren't you happy?!

It was destiny, as in Destiny's Child. That's correct minions Beyonce' was joined on stage by Michelle Williams and Kelly Rowland and they said each other's names.

Wow, what could possibly top that? Glad you asked. Solange took the stage along with Jay-Z and she beat the F#ck out of him again much to the crowd's delight.

OK, I am kidding about that, but they really did join their respective sister and wife to perform.

You go Beyonce' !!!

Trick Or Treat, Beyonce & Jay Z At The Met Gala

Put A Damn Ring On It!
Halloween came early this year, get a load at most of the outfits celebs wore to the Met Gala, there were plenty of fun treats!
There were also some fancy PR tricks. The winner in this game goes to Beyonce and Jay Z, for the most endearing one that was oh so perfectly timed..."Put A Ring On It!"
Beyoncé and Jay Z were the final stars to walk the red carpet at the Met Gala in New York City Monday, and the power couple made in their Givenchy Haute Couture were the paparazzi's wet dream.
At one point, one of Beyoncé's Lorraine Schwartz rings slid off her finger and fell onto the ground. Fortunately, her knight in shinning armor, Mr. Jay Z located it — instead of merely handing it back to her, he decided to stage a mock proposal for the cameras.
Ms. Knowles gave an enthusiastic "Yes!"
Next month, Beyoncé and Jay Z will kick off their 16-date On The Run tour.
You guys win this weeks best PR stunt, as obvious as it was, it was also endearing and clever.

For Immediate Release: Chris Rene

CHRIS RENE SET TO RELEASE FIRST SINGLE,
“YOUNG HOMIE” OFF FORTHCOMING DEBUT ALBUM
THE X FACTOR FINALIST TO PLAY ELLEN DEGENERES SHOW

Epic Records recording artist, Chris Rene has released "Young Homie" the highly anticipated first single off his forthcoming debut album following his groundbreaking run on The X Factor. Chris will release his first single on iTunes and perform on the Ellen DeGeneres Show March 14th.

Produced by JR Rotem, the new studio version of “Young Homie” is a fresh take on the original song penned by Chris and performed on The X Factor. Becoming a fan favorite throughout the show’s debut season, his audition and performance footage became the most watched out of all The X Factor contestants and has since seen over 25 million views on YouTube. Rarely has an original song ever led to a spot on a talent competition show and Chris’ introduction of “Young Homie” garnered him a deserving place in the live shows where he continued to showcase his unique talents.

“Chris Rene's unique voice and identity constantly communicate his heartfelt message of love, positivity, and an overcoming of personal adversities,” says producer JR Rotem. “You can't help but be inspired by his energy and touched by the genuine and natural quality of his voice.”

The charismatic pop-driven track which hits airwaves today will be available for fans to purchase on iTunes March 13th. The video for the track was recently shot in Chris’ hometown of Santa Cruz, CA by renowned director, Jeremy Rall (Jay-Z, Snoop Dog, Ludacris). The video gives viewers a snapshot of Chris’ hometown, the places and people Chris grew up with and the inspiration for the song.

Destined to be a musician, finalist Chris Rene won over America’s hearts from day one with his inspirational story, charisma and original songs, finishing third overall. The road to success has not been an easy one. The Santa Cruz, California native has struggled with numerous addictions, but with the support of his family and drive to change his life, Chris made a decision to enter into rehab. With just 70 days sober under his belt, Chris took a leap of faith to pursue his dream and auditioned for The X Factor performing “Young Homie.”

Globally, more than 100 million records have been sold by artists launched through The X Factor series, including over 100 No.1 singles and albums and more than 150 Top Ten records.
