First Day Of Spring

What Spring???

Today is officially the first day of Spring. It certainly doesn't feel like it, the weather in Los Angeles is rainy and cold.

Thus my current contentious attitude about the whole farce.

Hoping you are somewhere where it's nice and springy!!!

Monday Motivation

I'm Gumby Damn It!
Adam Levine
After a quite eventful April 1st - you know Easter, April Fools Day, Passover & Rent Due. It's time to decompress and hit the mat. That's correct I am going to yoga today, woo hoo!

Monday is usually my day off from the gym, but due to mitigating circumstances I must get there today - thus Monday, when I do go is yoga day.

Today's Monday Motivation is yogi Adam Levine for various reasons. One of the main ones being, well you know, his flexibility as demonstrated in the images above. Obviously Adam has been participating in the sacred art for quite some time to be this pliable.

Me? I am a late comer to the table and am as flexible as a brick. I am more so than I used to be, but have a long way to go.

Thus today's yoga motivation mantra is: "Bend it like Adam." or at the very least picture Adam bending in my head when things get tough if you get my drift (I think you do...)

Seeing Red (Sparrow)

Keep Your Eye On The Sparrow
Jennifer Lawrence & Joel Edgerton
Here we are at the premiere of Red Sparrow in London yesterday. Red Sparrow opens March 2 and stars Jennifer Lawrence as some sort of dominatrix spy who kicks ass at here job, but actually has a conscience. Um, not sure how that's going to work when jobs like that usually require the constitution of a robot, but if she didn't have any moral compass there would be no movie.

See Jennifer smile, See Jennifer with her co-star Joel Edgerton on the red carpet, See them enjoying shits & giggles at the London launch (say that three times fast, I dare ya.)

Moving on up I presume. Personally I am on the fence about this one, it would have to get spectacular reviews for me to even consider stepping foot into a theater. Isn't that always the case with me? Nod your head "yes."

This being stated I am sure Jennifer will knock it out of the park!

Namaste.
