Britney Spears

Peace is the word today as in, in need some and of course "Peace Out." If you are scratching your collective crotches and wondering why, well wonder no more being as today is International Day Of Peace.

Honestly this should be something that is practiced 365 days a year. Have you ever been mellow? Have you ever tried?

Well join moi and Peace Day cheerleader It's Britney Bitch! aka Britney Spears and bask in the glory of now, the moment as it were and as it shall be.

Me? I celebrating by hitting the mat. "Yes" I am attending yoga in the Hollywood Forever Cemetery.

Namaste and all that jazz!

I leave you in Peace...

Flower Power!

In Bloom
Lady Gaga
"Flower Power was a slogan used during the late 1960s and early 1970s as a symbol of passive resistance and non-violence ideology"

Lady Gaga has been keeping a low profile as of late. Trust me, I follow her on Instagram and she has only resurfaced recently and for a blip, only to disappear again.

That means our Lady of Gaga is werking, not twerking. However she was snapped recently on the streets of NYC carrying a vase full of flowers on prominent display.

Hmmmmmmmm...is there a cryptic meaning to these in your face blossoms, such as peace out? Or perhaps they signal a new, not a bad, romance...or...

Whatever the case, this pic is giving good vibes only, which is something we all need.

Holla!

What's That On Your Head? A Wig!

Who's That Girl?
Amber Rose
While surfing the WWW I scrolled upon this image of Amber Rose. I didn't even recognize her at first, because what's that on her head? A wig!

Amber was sporting fake dark tresses while she was out at the Playhouse Night Club in Hollywood.

It appears Amber has crossed over to the dark side of the moon. Honestly I like this look on her more than her standard one.

Perhaps she will sport it more often, who knows. In the meantime enjoy the view while it lasts. I'm going to go out and dye my shaved head blonde now.

Peace!

Peace Out

No Bird, Just Peace
Colton Haynes
When I saw this photo I did a double take. The first reason was because I thought it was hot. The second was because it made me want to know more about the guy in it and who he was.

Honestly I did not recognize newly engaged actor Colton Haynes of Arrow & Teen Wolf fame as a suicide blonde. Yes, it took pulling the image up for me to see the name attached before I put that piece of the "Who's That Guy?" puzzle together.

Colton is "so fetch" in his casual suit and eye catching hair color, so much so that I wouldn't mind having him as one of my...Ha! Did you think I was going to spill on that? That's for the book I am writing.

Carrying on, Colton is giving the paparazzi the fingers, you know the universal sign for peace. Which I think is a perfect message for a Saturday, or any day really.

So "Peace Out' with Colton. C'mon you know you want to.

Gone Too Soon, Scott Weiland

Scott Weiland
Keep On Rockin'
Addiction is an all to real thing. Stone Temple Pilots and Velvet Revolver were two of the best bands ever!

Of course do in no small part to one Mr. Scott Weiland. Who recently passed from cardiac arrest brought on by his addiction to drugs.

Such a great talent, cut short at age 48. Here is a musical memory of his legacy below. Plush by Stone Temple Pilots.

R.I.P. Your talent will live forever.

If you know someone who has addiction issues, please direct them to help. It's out there. Peace.

Enjoy The Silence, Pentatonix

PTX: Peace Is Heavenly
With the world spinning around in all directions for better or worse,  it's always nice to take a moment for a little peace.

Pentatonix have just released the video of their version of Silent Night off of the gangs smash hit Holiday CD That's Christmas To Me.

Take a break from the chaos of the world around you and enjoy this beautiful rendition of the Christmas classic.

Have a wonderful Tuesday and remember, to quote the late great Maya Angelou

“Hate, it has caused a lot of problems in the world, but has not solved one yet.”

Go "White Christmas" With Sandy Zacky

Sandy Sings "White Christmas" @ CSUN

David Letterman has Darlene Love, Rockefeller Center and now The Grove in Los Angeles has it's tree lighting...here at "Entertain Me" we kick off Christmas with our resident Chanteuse, Sandy Zacky.

I had the honor of seeing Sandy with a "Y" not "E" sing "White Christmas" live at her one night only CSUN performance in 2009...she was amazing!

Thus she is my Christmas tradition. So without further adieu on this December 1st 2013 the Christmas Season begins with Sandy with a "Y"
It's Christmas Time

As this review of Ms. Z states:

...Zacky is a cross between Rosemary Clooney and Ella Fitzgerald. She is a truly great singer with consummate phrasing...

R.I.P: Lisa Robin Kelly

Lisa Robin Kelly

Lisa Robin Kelly passed away from problems having to do with addiction today, although she had only copped to alcohol addiction in the past, judging by the recent photo I have seen of her, I suspect drugs might have been involved.

She will always be known best for her role as Laurie Forman - Eric Forman's older sister on "That 70's Show".

Creative people in general tend to be predisposed to alcohol and drug abuse and Lisa was no exception. The lucky ones are able to beat their demons, unfortunately her demons got hold of her before she tamed them.

Let's remember Lisa as the vibrant human being she was, someone who entertained us all as one of the best "Mean Girls" on TV.
The "That 70's Show" Gang

Thank You, Lisa Kelly for bringing Laurie Forman to life, the character and the show will live on in syndication and our memories forever.

Peace.

The Strange Familiar + "Pretty Little Liars" = An Awesome 2013...!

The Strange Familiar
After having their haunting hit song "Unwanted" featured on one of my favorite shows "Pretty Little Liars" last year, one of my favorite bands The Strange Familiar is back on the show with "Alibi", "Unwanted", and "Runaway Heart" on Season 3 of Pretty Little Liars on January 29, February 12, and March 12 episodes.
The songs are taken from their debut album "Chasing Shadows" - as a huge fan of both this  news is rockin' !
Last nights episode featured "Alibi" which is sure be be another hit for TSF.
I checked in with my friend and lead singer for the band Kira Leyden Andrea and asked her to give a shout out to all of you PLL and TSF fans as to what five things she wishes all of you in 2013.
Pretty Little Liars
Take it away Kira....!
1) Love - what's life without love? Love for our families, friends, our significant other, God, for all those who need compassion and a heping hand, and love for life!
2) Health - we often take the little things for granted - like being able to get out of bed in the morning - to see the sun rise - to share a meal with friends and family. But when things like these are taken away, we realize they are not so little after all. I wish for everyone to be blessed with good health of mind, body and spirit in 2013.
3) Peace - I know it may sound like a cliche pageant answer, but I wish for peace in 2013. Peace of mind - peace in our families, peace in our nation, peace between all nations.
4) Laughter - life can be heavy, so I wish that laughter will help lift everyone up in 2013.
5) Hope - for everyone going through a tough time, for anyone in pain... We all have our struggles, but hope is what keeps us going.

Thanks Kira for your well wishes to everyone....and being part of a band and a show that makes 2013 an already better year than 2012.
