Monday Motivation

With merely three days to Halloween today's Monday Motivation is the adage "Follow Your Heart."

In keeping with the Season of the Witch I have provided a macabre to some, delightful to others illustration of this.

"Follow Your Heart" is a personal thing that I can not, therefore will not define for you. Let's just say it is for certain not the "Tell-Tale Heart" now that's something really scary! The other can be too just not in a supernatural sort of way.

Thus today I am going to go where my heart leads me. Except I will not have mine outside my body on a leash.

Yeah, if I did that I would be dead, and unable to get my bliss on. Only if I was a Zombie that could work, and then I'd most likely gnaw on it or something to that grotesque effect.

It's time, you have your Monday Motivation mission, get to it minions!

My Zombie Boyfriend

Corpses Have More Fun!
Vanessa Hudgens
Former High School Musical and Spring Breakers star Vanessa Hudgens brings all the boys to the yard, including Zombies.

While attending Knott's Scary Farm this smooth walking dead operator couldn't seem to keep his bony fingers off of Ms. Hudgens as she politely indulged him, or perhaps even enjoyed the attention from the animated corpse who was hitting on her.

No word yet on whether he followed her home.

Happy Monday!

Making Out With "The Joker" Is Nasty

Whose Lipstick Is Best?
Jared Leto & Margot Robbie
One would think getting up close and personal with Jared Leto would be all kinds of sexy, right?

Well apparently it's nasty, and not in the fun way, when he is made-up to portray The Joker in Suicide Squad

Co-Star Margot Robbie who plays Harley Quinn his love interest and partner in crime explains that there were 10 minute make-up touch ups in between takes of the kissing scenes. Now I am not sure how many of you are familiar with the technical end of how takes work, but that is a massive effort for one shot, wow!

But, she had no problem putting the moves on Leto in his scary ass Joker get up. Once you get over the initial shock she explained it becomes normal.

I bet! Suicide Squad opens Friday. Check out the trailer below...

Six More Days 'Til Halloween...

Don't Be Cruel
Iggy Azalea

Six more days 'til Halloween/ Halloween/ Halloween/ Six more days 'til Halloween/ Silver Shamrock.

That's right only six more days until the Big H ghouls so I thought I would run a pic of one of the best celebrity costumes ever.

Iggy Azalea as Cruella DeVille! Not only does that costume look great on Iggy, I mean check out how perfectly fitted and detailed it is, hey she ever brought along a Dalmatian to accessorize.

But think about this, in consideration all the negative press Ms. Azalea received this past year it seems like the perfect costume for her, no?

Six more days left people! I hope you have been celebrating all month long and are more than ready for All Hallows Eve. Especially since it falls on a Saturday this year.

Have a Scary Sunday...!!!

Ghostface - Lift

Does This Mask Make Me Look Scary?

Tonight at 10pm MTV is premiering it's TV series based on the movie Scream.

Well the producers decided the Ghostface need some renovating and gave his mask a scary new face lift. There is even a back story to the killers new look.

Personally I love horror and the movie Scream and will watch the premiere episode out of curiosity to see what they brewed up, whether I tune in past that remains to be seen.

As the old adage goes: Curiosity Killed the Cat...

The Horror: Margaret Cho Speaks To The Dead

Margaret Cho
That's right people, she does. Did you happen to see her guest starring on the Jennifer Love Hewitt show "Ghost Whisperer" where she played Occult Anthropology Professor Avery Grant who was quite taken off guard that her teachings had some truth to them with the help of ghost visitations and a Ouija Board?

Well she did indeed speak to the dead on the show, Boo! Interestingly enough Margaret has an extensive collection of Ouija Boards, yes that's correct, one of the most popular stand-up comics on the planet loves her some Ouija's -  so it being the Halloween Season and all, I asked Margaret to tell me her scariest experience with one.

Margaret Cho & Jennifer Love Hewitt on "Ghost Whisperer"
Tell us about it, Margaret ...

"We have Ouija Boards all over my house, and once I looked at one of the very vintage boards - probably from the turn of the century or before, and it seemed that the planchette  was moving on its own. It's kind of an Egyptian/art deco thing, and no one was touching the planchette, it was just circling the board by itself, like it had a motor or something. Then I found out my husband had rigged the board with a battery operated planchette! No ghosts from the afterlife trying to contact me. Just a 9 volt battery strapped to the inside - but boy it was scary looking!"

Ouija Board

That would be scary and what great Halloween prank!

Margaret is currently on tour with her stand-up show "Mother" and is also doing her podcast "Monsters of Talk" with Jim Short.
