"Cruising"

The controversial thriller hits Blu-ray August 20th...!
Academy Award-winner William Friedkin (The Exorcist, The French Connection) directs Al Pacino as an undercover cop pitched into New York's seedy underbelly in Cruising - available for the first time on Blu-ray in a brand new director-approved transfer. New York is caught in the grip of a sadistic serial killer who is preying on the patrons of the city's underground bars. Captain Edelson (Paul Sorvino) tasks young rookie Steve Burns (Pacino) with infiltrating the S&M subculture to try and lure the killer out of the shadows - but as he immerses himself deeper and deeper into the underworld, Steve risks losing his own identity in the process. Taking the premise and title from reporter Gerald Walker's novel, Cruising was the subject of great controversy at the time of its release and remains a challenging and remarkable movie to this day, with Pacino's haunted lead performance as its magnetic centerpiece.

M.E. Franco Is Horrifying!

The Night SHE Came Home!
M.E. Franco
Here is comes again, ya know, Halloween - which means it's time for me to have my Holiday chat about the most hallowed time of the year with fellow horror enthusiast and author of the supernatural "Dion" book series M.E. Franco!

Much like Norman Bates' Mother, M.E. is off her rocker...just the way we like her!

MS: If you were a serial killer, which serial killer would you be and why? (this can be fictional or non-fictional)

ME: Dexter, hands down.
I'm Number 2!
MS: Who would you cast in films as the male leads in your Dion series of books?

ME: That's a tough one. When I write, I have a character so completely formed in my head, it's hard to pick someone else to play them.

MS: Are you watching American Horror Story: Apocalypse? If so gimme your thoughts?

ME: I haven't watched the last few seasons, but from what I've heard, I may binge watch this season. Sounds like it might be worth checking out.
What's Angry, Horny & Red All Over?
Satan!
MS: OK, Satan offers you the chance to sell your soul for everything you have ever dreamed about. But there is a catch (you know Satan) you offer a sacrifice of something living. What, or who would that be?

ME: Does it have to be someone I like? I'd happily offer him the neighbor lady behind me. She's a hag, and she's mean to her pets. I'd happily "This is Sparta" kick her into the pit.

I'm Your Boogeyman!
Jamie Lee Curtis & Michael Myers
MS: Excited for the Halloween movie? (I am!)

ME: YEEEEEEESSSSS!! I can't wait!

MS: What's most scary to you being locked in a cell with Hannibal Lecter, or having dinner with Donald Trump?

ME: Better to eat dinner than be dinner.
Let's Have A Kiki
Jason Vorhees
MS: If you click your heels together three times and say Jason Vorhees, Jason Vorhees, Jason Vorhees what happens?

ME: Suddenly, no one wants to go camping with you anymore. Whatever.

MS: Ever encountered a Werebeaver?

ME: You just made me laugh so hard. Thankfully, no. No zombeavers either. LOL
"A Naked American Man Stole My Balloons"
David Naughton (looking good)
In
"An American Werewolf in London"
MS: Did you ever fantasize after seeing An American Werewolf in London that David Naughton in Werewolf form would come in at you for the kill and then all of the sudden revert back to his human form and be standing naked in front of you?

ME: Enough times that I think he probably could have gotten a restraining order.

MS: What's the scariest thing that has ever happened to you?

ME: I almost got abducted in the 4th grade. I was walking home from my friend's house, when a man pulled up next to me in a white car. He said my parents had been in a car accident, and he'd been sent to pick me up. Thankfully, I had just turned down my street, so I could see that both of my parents' cars were in front of our house. When I told him that, he took off. It wasn't until after he left, that I realized what he was doing., so I ran home and told my mom. That scared the crap out of me for a long time.

MS: Treats are so overrated. Name a favorite tricks you have played on someone.

ME: We took my grandmother and great-aunt on a tour of Alcatraz at their request. At one point during the tour, they put our group in a solitary confinement cell and closed the door, so we could see how dark it was. I took the chance to grab my great aunt in the butt with much gusto to freak her out. Unfortunately, in mid grab, I saw the flash of a camera. I'm sure some poor family got quite a surprise when they got their vacation photos developed.
"You Poor Unfortunate Soul"
Ursula
MS: What Disney villainess would you most like to be?

ME: I love the ocean, so I want to say Ursula, but damn she's mean!

MS: Finally what do you want on your Tombstone (I am not talking about the frozen pizza)?

ME: "She always made us laugh."

Hump Day & Chill

Coming & Going There's Nothing Like Daddy's Boy
Zac Efron
This week's Hump Day & Chill is brought to you by Daddy's Boy, Zac Efron. As you all know I have a thing for Zac and "yes" I follow him on Instagram

Well my boy Zac has been posting a lot of images from the set of his latest movie bearing the hashtag #wickedcrew which intrigued me, duh. So I surfed over to IMDB and it turns out my boy is portraying serial killer/rapist Ted Bundy in an opus with the title Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile - say that three times fast, c'mon I dare ya.

Awwwwwwww, my little boy is growing up. Also he is the perfect choice to play the monster formerly known as Ted Bundy. Why? Because Ted was extremely charismatic and good looking. How else do you think he lured his female prey?

Boy Zac
as
Ted Bundy
Even though I have included an image from the upcoming film the point of Hump Day & Chill is to ogle Man Candy, and that I have with nearly naked images of Zac from Dirty Grandpa

You can clearly see why he is Daddy's Boy.

Michael has left the building...

Chaos Thy Name Is GG Allin

Hold on tight, it's going to be a bumpy read!

The critically acclaimed book goes digital... GG's letters, illustrations, prose, and
his own personal account of prison
"If there's a bestseller list in Hell, be prepared to see this tome crawl its way to the top."
- Marc Campbell, DANGEROUS MINDS

In 2013, Aggronautix published GG Allin "My Prison Walls", a limited edition hard cover collector's book wrapped in black saifu cloth and decorated / titled in red foil blood stamping. Each book was individually numbered and shrink-wrapped for protection and preservation. After the 2500 copies have been sold through, the book will not be re-printed. (According to Aggronautix there are still some available, but not many)

Now, "My Prison Walls" is available for Kindle (at the reasonable price - $5.99) opening the door for legions of fans to explore GG's prison era memoirs without the $60 SRP. The 208 page book contains letters, illustrations, prose, and GG's own personal accounts of his time spent in prison.

The book begins with "30 Days In The Hole" from GG's journal, in his own handwriting, detailing his first days in lock up. This comprises the first 50 pages of the book and gives the reader a first-hand account of his mindset at the time. In addition, there are over 40 pieces of art and prose by Allin, plus correspondence with his family members, convicted serial killer John Wayne Gacy, Jeff Clayton of ANTiSEEN, and many others.

Mowed Over: Scream Queens

I Will Survive!
Nick Jonas & Ariana Grande
In tribute to Deaf Taylor Swift's passing in the series premiere of Scream Queens, first off let me say I am mowed over by it! Yes, death by lawnmower blows, but it was one of the highlights from the two hour debut of mayhem, murder and things that are politically incorrect.

Hey I loved the show and will be watching as the rest of the evil unfolds.

Want a few updates tied to the premiere? Well as we saw Nick Jonas who plays the token gay, Boone was offed by that gender neutral Devil killer. But in a twist of fate we saw at the end he was indeed alive and will live to pop a boner again with Chad (Glen Powell) - Since he has clearly sold his soul to the Devil in disguise, perhaps there is a more insidious agenda going on.

The yummy Nick has this to say about it “I can tell you that he is a part of the team of people involved in this master revenge plan, His history with it goes very, very deep.”

That's Hot!

Bad news for those of you, like me, thought Ariana Grande was going to be like Drew Barrymore was in Scream and have a really great memorable (not to mention hilarious) death scene and be done.

According to co-creator Ryan Murphy“She comes back I believe in episode 6 and maybe more. She’s recurring definitely. Everyone thinks she’s gone but she’s not gone. We’re just not sure how exactly she’s returning." Really?! “I wouldn’t say ghost. Nothing you think is happening is happening on the show. You think some people are dead — they’re not dead.”

Well OK, I for one am not a fan of this, but hey, you never know, it MIGHT work.

PS, Jamie Lee Curtis, of course kills in this! Hey at this point in the show, you never know this could end up being a literal statement...

Try A Little "Tenderness"

Tenderness of the Wolves

I like my serial killers rare...

Fritz Haarmann, aka the Butcher of Hanover and the Vampire of Hanover, was a German serial killer responsible for the murders of two dozen boys and young men during the so-called 'years of crisis' between the wars. His case would partly inspire Fritz Lang's M, and its central character portrayed by Peter Lorre, as well as this forgotten gem from 1973.

Tenderness of the Wolves treats the viewer to a few weeks in the company of a killer. Baby-faced and shaven-headed, in a manner that recalls both M and F.W. Murnau's Nosferatu, Haarmann is a fascinating, repulsive figure. Using his status as a police informant to procure his victims, he dismembers their bodies after death and sells the flesh to restaurants, dumping the remainder out of sight. This isn't an easy film to watch, but it certainly gets under the skin...

Produced by Rainer Werner Fassbinder (who also supplies a shifty cameo), Tenderness of the Wolves provided two of his regular actors with a means of expanding their careers. Ulli Lommel - later responsible for the infamous video nasty The Boogeyman - made his directorial debut, while Kurt Raab wrote the screenplay as well as delivering an astonishing performance as Haarmann.

Special Features:
-New high definition digital transfer prepared by the Rainer Werner Fassbinder Foundation
-High Definition Blu-ray (1080p) and Standard Definition DVD presentations
-Uncompressed Mono 1.0 PCM Audio
-New translated English subtitles
-The Tender Wolf - a brand-new in-depth interview with director Ulli Lommel

Tie One On, With "Fifty Shades" Star Jamie Dornan

Nothing Except For A Slip Knot Comes Between Jamie Dornan And His Calvin's

Pardon the beefcake shot, but given the tone of this post, I could not resist an image showing all of you the star of the upcoming adaptation of "Fifty Shades of Gray" Jamie Dornan in his Calvin's...
Much like Brooke Shields it looks like nothing comes between Jamie and his Calvin's either.
Mr. Dornan has earned himself an interesting set of skills after some of his latest jobs. Like tying rope, for example.
He plays a serial killer who ties up his victims in "The Fall" to a billionaire S&M hunk who enjoys to do some rope work in "Fifty Shades of Grey," Dornan has had his fair share in the knot workshop, but even he admits that he'd like to do slide into something different.
The actor admits "There are a couple of classic knots I know now,"  tell us more Jamie -  "and I've put them to good use far too many times recently. In fact I'd like to do a job where I don't have to tie women to beds."
Or perhaps you could hold seminars for the rabid fan base of the E.L. James novel, it would be a great publicity stunt, just putting it out there...!
